As Taksimatik, we place the utmost importance on the security of your personal data. With this awareness, we are committed to processing and preserving all personal data of individuals associated with our company—including those who benefit from our products and services—in compliance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVK Law”). With full awareness of this responsibility, and in our capacity as the Data Controller, we process your personal data as explained below and within the limits prescribed by the relevant legislation.
Collection, Processing, and Purposes of Processing Personal Data
Your personal data may vary depending on the products, services, or commercial activities provided by our company and may be collected by automated or non-automated means; verbally, in writing, or electronically through offices, call centers, our website, social media platforms, and similar channels. Your personal data may also be created and updated during the period you benefit from our services.
In addition, your personal data may be processed when you visit our website or contact our call center to use our services, or when you participate in events organized by Taksimatik.
The collected personal data may be processed for the purposes of enabling you to benefit from the products and services offered by our company, customizing them according to your preferences and needs, ensuring legal and commercial security (including administrative operations for communication, physical security, partner/customer/supplier evaluation processes, legal compliance processes, financial operations, etc.), determining our commercial and business strategies, and managing our human resources policies, in accordance with the conditions and purposes for processing personal data as specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVK Law.
Transfer of Processed Personal Data to Third Parties and Purpose
Your personal data collected may be transferred—within the scope of the purposes mentioned above—to our business partners, suppliers, shareholders, legally authorized public institutions, and private individuals, in accordance with the personal data processing conditions and purposes set forth in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVK Law.
Method and Legal Basis for Collecting Personal Data
Your personal data is collected by any verbal, written, or electronic means in order to provide the services offered by our company within the defined legal framework and to fulfill our contractual and legal responsibilities fully and properly. The personal data collected based on this legal basis may be processed and transferred for the purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVK Law.
Rights of Personal Data Owners Under Article 11 of the KVK Law
As the owners of personal data, if you submit your requests regarding your rights to our company through the methods specified in this Information Notice, our company will resolve the request free of charge within thirty (30) days at the latest. However, if the Personal Data Protection Board stipulates a fee, the fee in the determined tariff may be charged.
Within this scope, personal data owners have the right to:
Learn whether personal data is being processed,
Request information if personal data has been processed,
Learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether it is used in accordance with this purpose,
Know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
Request correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed and request that the third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred are notified of this correction,
Request deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions set forth in the KVK Law, even if it has been processed in accordance with the KVK Law and other relevant laws, and request that the third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred are notified of this,
Object to the occurrence of a result against them by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
Request compensation for damage if they suffer damage due to unlawful processing of personal data.
In accordance with Article 13/1 of the KVK Law, you may submit your requests to exercise the above rights to our company in writing or through other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board. Since the Board has not determined any other method at this stage, you must submit your application in writing.
