In such cases, certain user information such as name and surname, contact details, trip and payment information, and request/suggestion/complaint details is collected.

The Taksimatik mobile application uses cookies to understand the use of Taksimatik-branded taximeters, track user movements, ensure proper visits, improve the application’s functionality and content, evaluate usage statistically, and provide users with personalized services based on their preferences and usage habits.

PURPOSES OF USING THE INFORMATION

Taksimatik primarily uses the information collected through the mobile application for the following purposes:

  • To offer services to users via the mobile application,

  • To manage financial and accounting processes related to payments,

  • To promote our services and manage advertising and campaign processes,

  • To improve and develop our products and services based on user feedback,

  • To personalize our services according to user preferences, usage habits, and interests,

The payment infrastructure is provided by SiPay. Taksimatik does not store any credit card information.

The user accepts full responsibility for the security and confidentiality of the system access tools (such as username and password) used to benefit from the services provided through the mobile application and for keeping them inaccessible to third parties.


ACCURACY AND UPDATING OF YOUR INFORMATION

The accuracy and currency of the information provided by the user are the user’s responsibility. Your information must be provided accurately and updated in case of any changes. You may update the information you shared with Taksimatik at any time through the mobile application or by contacting Taksimatik customer service.

If you provide information to Taksimatik on behalf of someone else, you are deemed to have warranted that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to share it with Taksimatik.

If a user requests that certain information not be used by Taksimatik, they acknowledge that they may be partially or fully unable to benefit from some services.


REDIRECTIONS TO THIRD PARTIES

The Taksimatik mobile application may contain links to third-party websites not operated by Taksimatik. When you visit any such link, you will be subject to the privacy policies and terms of use of the respective third party. Taksimatik is not responsible for the policies or practices of these third parties.


CHANGES TO THE MOBILE APPLICATION AND THIS POLICY

Taksimatik reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the services, information, visuals, and other elements provided via the mobile application without prior notice.

Taksimatik also reserves the right to make changes and updates to this Policy. Users are responsible for following the most current version of the Policy.


LIABILITY

Taksimatik shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages or expenses that may arise from any errors, interruptions, delays, viruses, malfunctions, and/or system failures that occur during the use of the mobile application.
